Of course, porting a PC game to a mobile platform is risky and not always justified. Developers are trying to cram all the gameplay features, graphic delights and dynamism of action into miniature smartphones or tablets. In most cases, the result is disappointing, but not Hitman GO! Square Enix did not go the way of stupid porting, they created a completely different game based on the 47th, strikingly different from the PC versions, but preserving the entourage and charm that we loved in the original.
The game is a mobile puzzle with small levels and intuitive controls. The design is made in the style of a board game, which is perfectly combined with touch control.
Turn-based gameplay, pushes for conscious and thoughtful actions. Our hero and his enemies can only take one step per turn. In order to "remove" the enemy, you need to occupy the cell where he is at the moment, and sometimes it's not at all easy: you need to think tactically, look for ways to bypass and hit from the back. Also, our hero can change clothes, disguise himself and distract the guards. There are weapons in the game: pistols, sniper rifles – everything is in place. In general, a complete set of the original 47, just a little bit in a different formation.
It is worth mentioning that it is not worth recommending Hitman GO on Android to all fans of the series. If the main thing for you is a sea of blood and an exit with a machine gun at the ready, against superior enemy forces, then most likely you will not like the game. But if planning, tactics and cold calculation are your good companions, you appreciate the spirit of the series and love complex tactical puzzles, take a closer look at this game. Believe me, she will not disappoint you.
